Loft Arts is an illustration firm headed by Lucie Frohlichova. Prior to entering the professional design world eight years ago, Lucie studied landscape architecture and civil engineering. Originally from the Czech Republic, Lucie studied civil engineering at University of Brno. After her move to the US she earned her BSLA in 2006 at University of Wisconsin, Madison. Lucie’s training as an illustrator started in college in the Czech Republic, nearly fourteen years ago. Her love and passion for sketching, art, design and architecture lead her to seek opportunities to grow not only as a designer but as an artist as well. Lucie participated in plethora of workshops to learn about art and design principles from well- known professionals. After her two year training at an award winning illustration firm in Madison Wisconsin Lucie accepted a position at an award winning landscape architecture firm in Fort Lauderdale, Florida where she was responsible for design and management of domestic and international projects ranging from luxury resorts in Bahrain, Maldives and Florida, high end residential developments in China to wildlife parks in UAE or residential estates in the Caribbean. Seven years into her experience in Fort Lauderdale Lucie established Loft Arts. In her illustration firm she continues to master her artistic skills in combination with Auto CAD and current 3d computer modeling software to achieve maximum accuracy in presentation material delivered to client. Lucie’s strength in illustration comes from detailed observation of built and natural environments around the globe gathered from her professional experience, travels and research. Her understanding of structural functionality of the built environment and her knowledge of the natural processes as well as her eye for design allows her to deliver well rounded products to her clientele.
